Art critics slating Romako images so sharp that one wonders how he may have endured the ridicule and insult, either, especially when he suffered under the pressure of having to secure for himself and his children's existence. Romako left Vienna after the failure of his "Tegetthoff" and had to finance an auction organize his works.
