Verspronck painted not only Maria van Strijp and her husband, but also her mother and her brother-in-law. He usually portrayed his patrons standing. In this case, however, Maria sits sideways on a chair with its back to the viewer. He borrowed this playful device from portraits by Frans Hals.

  • The poster print (canvas material): Our poster is a UV printed canvas with a fine surface structure, that resembles the actual artwork. It is excellently appropriate for putting the art print using a custom-made frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the painting, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Aluminium dibond (metal print): These are metal prints on aluminium dibond with an impressive depth effect. The Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your best start to fine art replicas made on aluminum. For your Aluminium Dibond print, we print your favorite work of art on the aluminium composite surface. The white and bright components of the original artwork shimmer with a silk gloss but without glare. Colors are luminous in the highest definition, details are crisp and clear. The direct print on aluminium is the most popular entry-level product and is an extremely contemporary way to display art, as it draws focus on the whole artwork.
