As the Latin inscription tells us, Abbess Lucrezia Agliardi Vertova founded the Carmelite convent of Saint Anne at Albino, outside Bergamo. This remarkably unidealized portrait of the widowed abbess hung there for centuries. Moroni was so famous for the naturalism of his portraits that the Venetian artist Titian singled him out for that quality, and his paintings were an important ingredient in the training that Caravaggio received while he lived in Lombardy.

Choose your desired product material variant

In the product dropdown menu you can choose a material and a size of your choice. The following options are available for individualization:

  • Canvas print: A printed canvas, not to be mistaken with a canvas painting, is a digital image printed on an industrial printing machine. How can I hang a canvas on my wall? Canvas Prints have the advantage of being relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy and straightforward to hang up your Canvas print without the support of any wall-mounts. Therefore, canvas prints are suited for any type of wall.
  • The poster print (canvas material): Our poster print is a printed flat cotton canvas paper with a slightly roughened texture on the surface, that reminds the original version of the masterpiece. Please note, that depending on the size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin between 2-6 cm around the print motif in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, which is often labelled as a print on plexiglass, will transform your favorite artwork into gorgeous décor. Furthermore, the acrylic print offers a good alternative option to canvas or dibond fine art prints. Your work of art will be printed with modern UV print technology.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a print material with a true depth effect. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your best start to fine art prints manufactured with aluminum. For the Direct Aluminium Dibond print, we print your selected artpiece on the aluminium surface. The white & bright components of the work of art shimmer with a silky gloss but without the glow.
