Vertumnus and Pomona. Vertumnus, in the guise of an old woman, expresses his beloved, naked Pomona increases. Vertumnus grips with her right hand a vine. Between her legs is her walking stick. Pomona is under an apple tree and holding in her right hand a kind of cutting blade with which it reaped fruit. Right in the foreground are apples, pears and grapes.

Vertumnus and Pomona was made by the male German artist Hendrick Goltzius in 1613.
