This 18th century artwork was made by Cornelis Troost in 1739. The 280 years old piece of art measures the size: height: 63 cm width: 51,1 cm | height: 24,8 in width: 20,1 in and was painted with the techinque of pastel, gouache on paper on canvas. The original artwork's inscription is: signed and dated: C. Troost / 1739. Besides, the artwork is in the the Mauritshuis's art collection, which the Mauritshuis is home to the best artworks of Dutch painting of the seventeenth century. Moreover, alignment is portrait with a ratio of 1 : 1.2, which means that the length is 20% shorter than the width. The actor, painter Cornelis Troost was a European artist, whose art style can primarily be assigned to Baroque. The artist lived for a total of 54 years - born in 1696 and deceased in the year 1750.
