Gallery label: The theme of a woman seated beside a window has a long tradition in Belgian and Dutch painting, most notably represented by the interiors of Jan Vermeer. In this canvas, Morren recasts the motif in the language of Neo-Impressionism. Morren transforms this silent realm crowded with furnishings and keepsakes into an intricate, colorful pattern of carefully applied dots. He even paints the paisley shawl in both shadow and bright light. The twisted rods at the right are the drying racks of a stove. They add a strangely energetic note to the motionless scene.

Pick your desired product material

For every product we offer a range of different sizes and materials. We allow you to pick your favorite size and material among the following product individualization options:

  • Acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): An acrylic glass print, often referenced as a fine art print on plexiglass, makes an original artwork into lovely home decoration. Furthermore, it forms a good alternative option to canvas or aluminium dibond fine art prints. Your own version of the artwork is made thanks to modern UV print technology. The result of this are deep, rich colors. With an acrylic glass art print contrasts plus smaller painting details become identifiable thanks to the precise gradation of the print. The acrylic glass protects your chosen art replica against sunlight and external influences for between 4 and six decades.
  • Poster (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed canvas with a granular surface structure, that resembles the actual masterpiece. It is best used for putting your art print using a special frame. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the canvas poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the painting to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas print: The printed canvas, not to be mistaken with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital image printed from an industrial printing machine. A canvas creates the exclusive effect of three-dimensionality. How can I hang a canvas print on the wall? The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, meaning that it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. That is why, canvas prints are suitable for any type of wall.
  • Aluminium dibond print (metal): This is a metal print made on aluminium dibond with an impressive depth. The non-reflective surface structure creates a fashionable look. The white & bright components of the original work of art shine with a silky gloss, however without glow. The print on aluminium is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is an extremely contemporary way to display art, because it puts the viewer’s attention on the replica of the artwork.
