In a desert landscape at the Jordan, Mary of Egypt, wrapped in a tunic, received Communion from the hands of St. Zosima facing it. Holy, worn with age, disheveled, the body and the folded arms, at the enlarged mouth and deformed excessively in a wild grin. Zosima, dressed as a monk, holding in his left hand the chalice covered with a veil and offers him the spoon of the Eucharistic wine in his right hand.
