In 1859 the French painter Constant Troyon painted the modern art artwork. The original version measures the size: 92 × 73,4 cm (36 1/4 × 28 7/8 in). Oil on canvas was used by the French artist as the medium of the painting. The original artwork is inscribed with the following information: "inscribed lower left: C Troyon". This artwork is included in the Art Institute Chicago's digital art collection. With courtesy of Art Institute Chicago (public domain). The creditline of the artpiece is: Henry Field Memorial Collection. Besides this, the alignment of the digital reproduction is in portrait format and has an image ratio of 3 : 4, which implies that the length is 25% shorter than the width. The painter Constant Troyon was a European artist, whose artistic style can be attributed primarily to Realism. The artist lived for 55 years, born in the year 1810 in Sevres, Ile-de-France, France and passed away in 1865 in Paris, Ile-de-France, France.
