Order the product material you will hang up on your walls

For every fine art print we offer a range of different sizes and materials. The following sizes and materials are the options we offer you for individualization:

  • Aluminium dibond print: Aluminium Dibond prints are metal prints with a true effect of depth - for a modern impression and non-reflective surface structure. For your Aluminium Dibond option, we print the selected work of art onto the aluminium composite surface. The bright & white parts of the original work of art shine with a silk gloss, however without glare. This direct UV print on Aluminum Dibond is one of the most demanded entry-level products and is a truly modern way to showcase artworks, because it puts the viewer’s attention on the replica of the artwork.
  • The acrylic glass print (with real glass coating): The acrylic glass print, which is sometimes denoted as a UV print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite artwork into beautiful décor. Above all, it is a viable alternative option to aluminium and canvas fine art prints. Your artwork is manufactured with modern UV direct print technology. The real glass coating protects your selected fine art print against sunlight and external influences for decades.
  • Poster print (canvas material): A poster print is a printed sheet of flat canvas paper with a slightly roughened structure on the surface, that reminds the actual version of the masterpiece. Please note, that depending on the absolute size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6cm round about the print to facilitate the framing with a custom frame.
  • Canvas print: A UV printed canvas material stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. It produces the exclusive look of three-dimensionality. Further, a canvas generates a charming and appealing ambience. A canvas print has the advantage of being relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all kinds of walls.

Legal note: We try whatever we can in order to depict the art products with as many details as possible and to display them visually on the product detail pages. However, the colors of the print materials and the printing might diverge somehwat from the representation on the device's monitor. Depending on your screen settings and the nature of the surface, not all colors are printed 100% realistically. Given that our are processed and printed by hand, there may as well be slight deviations in the exact position and the size of the motif.

Description from the museum's website (© Copyright - The Metropolitan Museum of Art - The Metropolitan Museum of Art)

This allegorical representation of Africa is part of a series of the four continents, painted as overdoors. It is possible that, like the other large-scale allegorical frescoes in this gallery, it may have been detached around 1900 from the Palazzo Valle-Marchesini-Sala in Vicenza.
