A hunter offers a dead bird to a young woman virtuously occupied with her sewing. Is he trying to seduce her? During the 17th century ‘vogelen’ (literally ‘to bird’) was slang for sexual intercourse. The statuette of Cupid, the god of love, on the cupboard also alludes to this. These kind of ‘hunter’s scenes’ – especially due to their possible double meaning – were a popular subject in painting.

The product dropdown menu gives you the possibility to choose your prefered size and material. Select your favorite size and material among the subsequent choices:

  • Aluminium dibond print (metal): This is a metal print made on alu dibond material with an impressive effect of depth. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is the perfect start to fine prints on alu. For our Direct Aluminium Dibond option, we print your favorite artpiece right on the aluminium white-primed surface. The white and bright parts of the work of art shine with a silky gloss but without the glow.
  • Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, often referred to as a plexiglass print, changes the original work of art into lovely wall decoration and is a viable alternative option to aluminium and canvas fine art replicas. Your own replica of the work of art is printed with modern UV direct printing technology. This creates the effect of rich and deep colors. The great advantage of a plexiglass fine art copy is that sharp contrasts as well as smaller color details will be recognizeable because of the granular gradation. The real glass coating protects your selected art replica against light and external influences for decades.
  • The poster print on canvas material: A poster print is a printed sheet of flat canvas with a fine structure on the surface. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin 2-6cm around the print in order to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • The canvas print: A printed canvas stretched on a wooden stretcher frame. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without the use of additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all types of walls.
