What does the curator team of the Nationalmuseum Stockholm write about this artwork from the artist and painter Otto Hesselbom? (© - Nationalmuseum Stockholm - www.nationalmuseum.se)

English: Like many artists around 1900, Otto Hesselbom stylised his subject matter by emphasising the contours. His lines reveal his interest in decorative effects in the style of the Viennese Secessionists and Old Norse embellishments. The strong lines are combined with a subtle, realistic portrayal of summer light. Although Hesselbom’s landscapes are based specifically on Dalsland, they are perceived to have a national character rather than being regional.

Select your product material option

The product dropdown list provides you with the chance to choose a material and a size of your choice. You can choose among the following product customization options:

  • Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often denoted as a print on plexiglass, will convert the original work of art into wall decoration. The acrylic glass protects your custom art print against sunlight and external influences for between four and six decades.
  • Metal print (aluminium dibond): An Aluminium Dibond print is a material with a true depth effect - for a modern look and non-reflective surface structure. A direct Aluminium Dibond Print is your ideal introduction to fine art reproductions produced on aluminum.
  • The poster print (canvas material): The Artprinta poster print is a UV printed cotton canvas paper with a slightly roughened finish on the surface. It is used for putting the art replica with the help of a customized frame. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of around 2-6cm round about the print motif to facilitate the framing with your custom frame.
  • Canvas: The canvas print, not to be confused with a painting on a canvas, is a digital image printed on an industrial printer. Your canvas print of your favorite artwork will provide you with the opportunity of transforming your art print into a large size artpiece like you know from galleries. How do I hang a canvas on the wall? The advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight. That means, it is easy to hang up your Canvas print without the use of additional wall-mounts. A canvas print is suitable for all kinds of walls.
