  • Poster print (canvas material): The poster print is a UV printed sheet of canvas paper with a fine finish on the surface. A printed poster is designed for putting your art replica with the help of a custom-made frame. Please bear in mind, that depending on the size of the poster print we add a white margin of approximately 2-6cm round about the painting to facilitate the framing.
  • The canvas print: A printed canvas material mounted on a wood stretcher frame. Canvas prints are relatively low in weight, which means that it is easy and straightforward to hang the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. Canvas prints are suited for all kinds of walls.
  • Print on glossy acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy print on acrylic glass, often referenced as a print on plexiglass, transforms the original into brilliant décor and makes a viable alternative option to canvas or dibond fine art prints. The work of art will be printed with the help of state-of-the-art UV direct printing technology. With an acrylic glass fine art print contrasts and also color details will be more exposed due to the very fine gradation.

In addition to his fascination with the classical past, Gérôme was one of the leading painters of "orientalist" subjects-exotic and romantic themes inspired by Napoleonic adventures abroad, romantic literature, and European colonialism. From 1855, Gérôme travelled regularly in Turkey, Egypt, and Asia Minor. Long fascinated by African animals, he sketched lions in the Paris zoo as a student and later hunted them on safari in North Africa.
