This 19th century painting "Emperor Francis I of Austria in Prussian general's uniform" was made by Friedrich von Amerling in 1834. The 180 years old version of the artpiece had the size: 272 x 182 cm - frame: 322,5 × 231 × 14,5 cm and was made with oil on canvas. The original artpiece has the following text as inscrption: "signed and dated lower left: FrAmerling / 1834". Besides, this work of art belongs to the Belvedere's collection, which is one of Europe's most famous museums with three locations that blends the experience of architecture and art in a unique way. Besides, the artwork has the creditline: transfer from hofärarischem ownership in Imperial Art Gallery in 1915. Furthermore, alignment of the digital reproduction is portrait with an aspect ratio of 2 : 3, which means that the length is 33% shorter than the width. The painter Friedrich von Amerling was a European artist, whose art style was mainly Biedermeier. The Biedermeier artist lived for 84 years - born in the year 1803 in Vienna, Vienna state, Austria and passed away in 1887.
