Kensett painted Eaton’s Neck, Long Island in the last summer of his life, which he spent mainly on Contentment Island, near Darien, Connecticut. Eaton’s Neck, New York, was a short ferry ride across Long Island Sound. The rigorously simplified work is divided into three zones: sea, land, and sky. No extraneous elements complicate the astonishingly unconventional composition—a work notably ahead of its time.

Product materials our customers can choose

For every product we offer different materials and sizes. The following options are available for individualization:

  • Aluminium dibond: An Aluminium Dibond print is a print with an outstanding depth. A direct Direct Print on Aluminum Dibond is your excellent introduction to art replicas produced with aluminum. The bright & white parts of the work of art shimmer with a silk gloss, however without any glow.
  • Canvas print: A canvas print, which shall not be confused with an artwork painted on a canvas, is a digital copy applied onto canvas. The great advantage of canvas prints is that they are relatively low in weight, which implies that it is easy and straightforward to hang up the Canvas print without the support of extra wall-mounts. A canvas print is suited for all types of walls.
  • Printed poster (canvas material): The poster is a UV printed sheet of cotton canvas with a nice surface texture. Please note, that depending on the size of the poster we add a white margin of something between 2-6 cm around the print, which facilitates the framing with your custom frame.
  • Printed acrylic glass (with real glass coating): A glossy acrylic glass print, often named a UV print on plexiglass, transforms your favorite original work of art into brilliant wall décor and forms a distinct alternative to canvas or dibond fine art prints. Your own version of the artwork will be manufactured with the help of modern UV direct printing machines. The result of this are deep and vivid colors.
