A man, probably the military governor of Leiden Dirk van Bronkhorst, at half length, lying on a bed with a laurel wreath on the head and the right arm of the city of Leiden clamped chest. Out of the mouth comes the saying "Keep It Myn Leiden. Previously, the sitter was identified as William of Orange.
